Terms and Conditions 

1. WTL Singapore International Stars 2024 (the “Contest”) is organized and produced by WTL Singapore Pte Ltd (“WTL”). These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all stages of the Contest. The Contest will include but not be limited to: - auditions; - filming of the Contest programme (the “Programme”); - rehearsals, training sessions and recording sessions for the Programme; promotional and publicity activities for the Contest. 

 

WTL 新加坡国际之星（“竞赛”）一项以华语为媒介的选美才艺选秀竞赛是由WTL新加坡私人有限公司（“WTL”）主办。 以下为本竞赛规则适用于竞赛各个阶段，不仅限于： 试镜、 竞赛拍摄、节目有关的彩排、训练、录音和录影竞赛的宣传活动。 

1. By submitting his/her application and a $300 registration fee, each contestant (the “Contestant”) accepts to be bounded by these Terms and Conditions and by all Contest rules and guidelines, which may be prescribed by WTL from time to time (the “Rules and Guidelines”). WTL reserves the right to amend or vary any of these Terms and Conditions or the Rules and Guidelines without prior notice to any Contestant. 

 

每位参赛者在呈交报名表格时必须连同附上新币300元报名费，并愿意受竞赛规则约束，并以竞赛与节目的利益为重。 WTL无需事先通知参赛者，有权修改竞赛规则。 

1. Contestants shall be between 18 and 65 years of age as at 01 January 2024 and must be able to converse in Mandarin. Full-time employees of WTL and any related/affiliated companies and their respective immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Contest. 

 

凡在2024年1月1日，年龄介于18岁至65岁，掌握流利华语，不论国籍，都可报名参加竞赛。WTL和任何属下有关公司的全职雇员和直属家属均不能参加竞赛。 

1. Contestants below 18 years of age shall be required to obtain his/her parent/legal guardian’s consent before participating in the Contest. 

 

年龄未满18岁的参赛者，须获得家长/监护人同意，方可参加竞赛。 

1. Unless otherwise stated by WTL, each Contestant shall be responsible for his/her own expenses incurred by him/her during or in connection with the Contest and no reimbursement may be sought from WTL. 

 

除非WTL有特别声明，参赛者必须自行承担在竞赛期的所有费用，无法向WTL申请报销。 

1. Each application shall be accompanied by 1 close-up and 1 full-length 3R colour photograph of the Contestant, taken within the last 3 months from the date of the application. All photographs submitted shall be the property of WTL who may, without further reference to the Contestant, use such photographs for purposes in connection with any promotion, marketing, publicity or obtaining sponsorship of the Contest and/or exploitation or distribution of the Programme locally and throughout the world. 

 

每份报名表格必须附上近3个月所拍摄的一张3R的脸部特写和一张3R的全身彩色照片。 参赛者所呈交的照片将属WTL所有，WTL在无需通知或征求参赛者同意下，有权在本地和全世界，使用照片作为竞赛宣传、促销、寻找赞助商或其他同竞赛相关用途。 

1. Shortlisted Contestants may be required to undergo various Contest auditions during the period between 01 March 2024 to 02 November 2024 in accordance with such schedules as determined by WTL in its sole and absolute discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, auditions may include face to-face interviews, on-stage performances or such other segments, as determined by WTL. Following such auditions, a selected group of Contestants will be selected by WTL (the “Semi-finalists”) to participate in the Beauty Contest 2024 Semi-finals and/or Grand-finals, which are tentatively scheduled to take place from 01 September 2024 to 02 November 2024 in Singapore. 

 

入选参赛者将于2024年3 月 1日至11月2 日，配合WTL自行决定和提供的行程，参与各种与竞赛相关的试镜。 避免造成疑虑，试镜包括面对面的面试、舞台表演，或其它由WTL决定的类似环节。 上述试镜过后，WTL将会决定入选参赛者，参与 2024年WTL 新加坡国际之星赛初和大决赛，目前暂定将从2024年9月1日至11月2日在新加坡举办。 

1. If selected to be one of the Semi-Finalists, each Contestant undertakes to make himself/herself available to attend, participate, undergo training and render all reasonable assistance to WTL in connection with the recording, promotion, marketing, publicity or obtaining sponsorship of the Contest and conduct of the Contest for broadcasting and the exploitation of the Contest throughout the world. The foregoing notwithstanding, WTL reserves the right at any time to amend the audition or competition schedules and venues, determine how the Contest will be conducted and how many Contestants will be shortlisted at each stage of the Contest. 

 

晋级初赛的每位参赛者，必须全力配合与协助WTL，出席和参与全部与竞赛相关的各种录影、宣传、市场促销和赞助商活动。 WTL可随时自行酌定试镜或比赛的行程和地点、竞赛方式和竞赛每轮入选的参赛者人数。 

1. Contestants who fail to attend rehearsals, filming/recording sessions or other events related to the Contest may be disqualified if the reasons for such absence are found to be unacceptable by WTL. WTL further reserves the right, without any liability for any resulting loss or damage to the Contestant, to disqualify any Contestant from the Contest on the grounds of undesirable conduct and/or appearance. 

 

若参赛者无故缺席彩排、录影工作或其他与竞赛的相关活动，缺席原因不受WTL批准的情况下，WTL有权在无需赔偿参赛者的情况下，取消该参赛者的参赛资格。 

1. The Contestant shall not withdraw from the Contest except with the express written consent of WTL, and he/she shall compensate WTL for all expenses or losses incurred or to be incurred in relation to his/her withdrawal. There shall be no refund on the registration fee. 

 

在未获得WTL的书面同意下，参赛者不能中途退出竞赛。 如有退赛，WTL将不退还参赛者之报名费。 

1. As a condition to entry and participation in the Contest, each Contestant represents and warrants that (a) he/she has fully disclosed all contractual or other arrangements (including but not limited to talent, endorsement, sponsorship, recording or performing contracts) to WTL; and (b) he/she is not prohibited from participating in the Contest, and the broadcast, promotion, sponsorship or distribution thereof and/or fulfilling his/her obligations under these Terms and Conditions. 

 

参赛者报名和参与此竞赛的先决条件是必须确保：(a)已经通知WTL全部现有的合约和安排（不仅限于合约代言、赞助活动、录影或表演合约）和 (b)本身并不会被限制参与竞赛和任何相关播映、宣传或赞助活动的合约或其他在此竞赛规则下的约束性安排。 

1. Save as disclosed to WTL in the application form for the Contest, the Contestant shall not enter into any new commercial, contractual, endorsement, sponsorship or other agreement or arrangement (including but not limited to talent, recording or performing contracts) with any person, firm or company (such as contracts with a management company or an individual to act as his/her manager) for the entire duration of the Contest, without the prior written consent of WTL. 

 

除了报名表格中所列，参赛者不得在竞赛期间，无WTL的书面同意情况下，签署任何可能防止其参加竞赛和任何相关播映、宣传或赞助活动的新合约或其他约束性的安排（个人、公司或以经理人 /公司为代表）。 

1. The Contestant acknowledges and agrees that he/she may be audio or video recorded and photographed while participating in any part of the Contest, whether or not the contestant is aware that he/she is being taped, recorded or photographed (collectively, the “Recordings”) and that such Recordings may be disseminated on television and/or all media now known or hereafter devised, in any and all manner throughout the world in perpetuity. With full title guarantee the Contestant hereby irrevocably assigns to WTL (including present assignment of future copyright) the entire copyright and all other rights of whatsoever nature in and to his/her contributions to the Contest, including but not limited to auditions, performances, appearances and interviews, such that WTL shall be entitled to edit, use and exploit and license others to use and exploit such contributions by all means and in all media and formats whether now known or hereafter invented throughout the Universe for the full period of copyright including any extensions and renewals thereto and thereafter insofar as is possible in perpetuity. Furthermore, the Contestant irrevocably grants all consents and waivers as may be required under the Copyright Act of the Republic of Singapore (as may be amended from time to time) (the “Act”) or any similar laws of any jurisdiction to enable WTL to make fullest use of the Contest or any part thereof without restriction. For the avoidance of doubt, Mediator may edit, adapt, translate or remove any part of the Contestant’s performance and/or contribution. 

 

参赛者确认并且同意在参与竞赛的任何一个过程中，即使在不知情的情况下，制作组有权将 参赛者的竞赛过程录音、录影和拍摄照片（统称“录影”），其录影资料会以各种形式，在电视和各媒体平台上播映。 参加竞赛后，所有参赛者实际上已同意并放弃所有追诉权；让WTL录下和使用其表演和录影、以及在世界各地以任何形式、供任何用途（包括商业和非商业），使用这些录影/音。 WTL将拥有参赛者在竞赛各个阶段表演的专利权，再者，在WTL版权法令下或任何相关司法权下，WTL有权无限制的使用竞赛的表演和录影。 WTL有权自行剪辑、截取、翻译或删除参赛者表演片段的任何部分。 

1. The Contestant acknowledges and agrees that the receipt and redemption of any prizes offered shall be subjected to the Contestant complying with terms and conditions imposed by WTL and/or its sponsors in relation to the prizes. In the event that the winner of any prize, for any reason, fails to comply with such terms and conditions, any prizes won shall be forfeited by the winner, and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that forfeited prize (or any part thereof). 

 

参赛者了解并且同意必须遵守WTL与竞赛赞助商的合作协定，方可获得竞赛所颁发的奖品。 任何奖品得主，不论任何原因，无法遵守赞助商所拟定的协定，奖品将被没收，并且不会获得任何形式的赔偿。 

1. WTL’s decision at all stages of the Contest (including without limitation the selection and number of judges) is final. No enquiries, appeals, verbal or written, shall be entertained. The Contestant shall accept and abide by any and all decisions made by WTL and/or the judges concerning, without limitation, these Terms and Conditions, the Rules and Guidelines, interviews with contestants, the award of prizes, and any other matters relating to the Contest. 

 

评审的遴选和人数，以及竞赛各阶段的评选过程由WTL全权决定。 任何口头或书面询问及上诉概不受理。 参赛者接受并且遵守所有WTL和/或评审的决定，这不仅限于竞赛规则、竞赛守则、与参赛者的访问、竞赛奖品和任何与竞赛相关事项。 

1. The Contestant agrees that his/her contributions to the Contest will not infringe the rights (including copyrights) of or defame or embarrass any person, firm or company (including WTL or any company in WTL). 

 

参赛者同意在竞赛中的所有表演不能侵犯任何版权、不得诽谤或损害任何人或公司（包括WTL和属下任何公司）的声誉。 

1. In the event of any dispute concerning the operation of any element of the Contest (including these Terms and Conditions and Rules and Guidelines), the decision of WTL is final. 

 

如果对竞赛任何环节或规则有任何争议，WTL做出的决定是最后裁决。 

1. WTL shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss, damage or injury sustained by any Contestant at any stage of the Contest, unless such loss, damage or injury is caused by WTL’s negligence. 

 

WTL在竞赛各阶段、包括受训期间，如身体上有任何损伤或利益上有任何损失，WTL概不负责，除非该损伤或损失是WTL的疏忽所致。 

1. WTL reserves the right to change the structure of the Contest as it deems fit including without limitation changing the date, time and venue of registration, adding auditions/rounds to the Contest, requesting additional performances from the Contestant and/or changing the anticipated recording schedule. Each Contestant’s continued participation in the Contest shall be subjected to the Contestant adhering to such terms and conditions. 

 

WTL有权在其认定适当的情况下，修改竞赛机制，包括无限制地修改日期、时决赛之前不得取得其他参赛者间和报名地点，增加试镜次数/竞赛阶段、要求参赛者呈献额外表演和/或更改既定录影/音通告。 每位参赛者得以继续参与竞赛，取决于参赛者是否遵守竞赛规则。 

1. WTL may in its absolute discretion disqualify the Contestant if the Contestant: (a) fails to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions, Rules and Guidelines, any other rules or regulations in force at the recording studios/premises/locations and all applicable regulations and laws currently in force; (b) fails to behave appropriately when taking part in the Contest; (c) commits any illegal or immoral act or conducts himself/herself in such a manner which in the sole opinion of WTL brings or tends to bring himself/herself, the Contest, the sponsors of the Contest or WTL into disrepute, ridicule or contempt; (d) becomes mentally, physically or otherwise incapacitated which in the sole opinion of WTL renders him/ her incapable of performing his/her obligations hereunder. 

 

假如参赛者犯了下列行为之一，WTL有绝对权力取消参赛者的参赛资格： (a)无法执行任何竞赛规则中的条例； (b) 在竞赛期间，行为不当； (c) 触犯任何法律或条规，导致自身、WTL和赞助商遭受蒙羞； (d) 身心方面出现不适，以致不适合继续参赛。 

1. A disqualified Contestant shall immediately stop in any further participation of the Contest, and WTL shall have the right to remove him/her from recording studios/premises/locations. Any cash and prizes won shall be forfeited and returned. 

 

参赛者一旦被取消参赛资格，必须即刻停止竞赛，WTL有权下令该参赛者离开录影场景/场地/地点。 该参赛者获得的任何奖金和奖品都将被没收和归还。 

1. WTL will have no liability to a Contestant who is (a) disqualified or (b) unable to attend or take part in the Contest for whatever reason and thereby disqualified by WTL. WTL may replace any such Contestant at any time during the Contest. 

 

如果参赛者(a)被取消竞赛资格或(b)基于任何理由无法出席或参加竞赛，WTL都无须负责。 WTL可在竞赛的任何期间，替换该参赛者。 

 

1. Each Contestant’s personal data will be collected, used, disclosed and/or processed by WTL for the following purposes: (a) for the purposes of the Contest; (b) for verification and record of personal particulars including comparing it with information from other sources and using the information to communicate with the Contestant; (c) for research and analysis, including surveys and polls; (d) to send Contestants notices, information, promotions and updates including marketing and advertising materials in relation to WTL’s goods and services and those of third party organisations selected by the WTL; and (e) to comply with any request from any third party or any order of court or directive from authorities investigating any alleged offence or misconduct or for the purposes of taking legal action against a contestant. 

 

每位参赛者的个人资料都会被WTL收集、使用、公开和/或拥有，做为以下用途： (a) 为竞赛用途 (b) 为验证和个人资料记录，包括与其他来源的资料做验证，也包括与参赛者做沟通使用； (c) 为资料搜集和分析，包括问卷和民意调查； (d) 发送与WTL商品服务和WTL所选用的第三方机构有关的通知、资讯、促销 和与市场行销有关的更新； (e) 为执行任何第三方的要求、法庭庭令、高层指示、不适当行为或为了对参赛者采取法律 途径用途。 

1. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you: (a) consent to the WTL collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your personal data for the purposes as described in Clause 23 above; and (b) consent to the WTL transferring your personal data out of Singapore to the WTL’s third party service providers or agents for the purposes as described in Clause 23 above. 本人同意以上竞赛规则： (a) 允许WTL根据以上第 23 条文所列，收集、使用、公开和/或拥有本人的个人资料 (b) 允许WTL根据以上第 23 条文所列, 将本人的个人资料转发至新加坡以外的WTL第三方服务提供商或代理。 假如对于WTL的资料收集、使用和公开有疑问，请联系WTL资料保护人员： 1719229935@qq.com 

1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The Contestant irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore. No third party shall have any rights to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions against WTL under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act of the Republic of Singapore. 

 

本竞赛规则根据新加坡法律订立，参赛者一旦参加竞赛，将受制于新加坡法庭管辖权。 任何第三方都无权在新加坡共和国合约（第三者权利）法令下，对WTL执行本竞赛规则的任何条文。
